Irregular attendance, unsatisfied or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behaviours of any kind may result in the removal (including a T.C.) of a student from the college, or, he/she may be debarred from taking part in the university examination (dis-collegiate).

Attendance for each student in a class will be evaluated on a quarterly basis. In case a student falls short of the required percentage of attendance after a quarterly inspection, the guardian of the said student will be called to the college and be intimated and repetition of such default will be seriously viewed and steps will be taken as said above.

Use of unfair means and/or possession of unauthorised materials in any test/examination will result in the annulment of a student's entire term results. A student who rendered unfair assistance to another is equally culpable and will, therefore, share in the punishment.

On being absent, a leave letter from the guardian must be submitted to the Departmental Head, clearly stating the reason for absence. In case of illness, the H.O.D. must be notified in writing by the third day on the anticipated time of absence. At the time of resuming the classes, the student must produce a letter of absence from the guardian along with a medical certificate.

Admission to the college makes it mandatory for a student to observe college rules and directions that may be issued from time to time by the college authority.

Ragging of any form is strictly prohibited and punishable under law as per the UGC regulations and as per the observations of the honbl'e supreme court of India. The College has an Anti –Ragging Cell that deals with the erring students. In case of any complaint of ragging in the college hostel or college campus, Dr. Dabir Ahmed, Associate Professor of Urdu, and Superintendent of the Baker Government Hostel is the convener of Anti-Ragging Sub-Committee. Students must carry their Identity cards. They should produce the card at any time for any reason. » Students are required to attend classes regularly and punctually.

Students having a record of attendance below the norms of the University (at least 75% of total classes held) will not be allowed to sit for the college / University examination and will be detained / will be given a transfer certificate (as per C.U. notification number CRS/10/99 dated 24.05.1999).

Loitering at the corridors without any valid reason is strictly prohibited.

Smoking and spitting in the college premises are strictly prohibited.

Students are required to follow the notice board every day for relevant information.

The Cell against Sexual Harassment is open to any exigencies which are brought to their notice. Not a single case, however, been reported till date. Contact: Dr. Madhumita Sen, Associate Professor of Sociology.
