The Maulana Azad College functions under the administrative control of The Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal. The college has been affliated to the University of Calcutta since its inception.

Principal's Office:

Principal's Office is located in the Ground Floor of the college. The office is fully computerised with internet facilities. Intra college administrative functions is control from this office. The office offers suggestive measures to the problems of the teachers regarding beneficial and career advancement processes. Different update of the college events, notices, examination schedules etc. is announce from this office. Apart from this the office extends help at the time of Admission, Students' Union Election , etc.

Student's Section (Office):

Students Section (Office) is situated in the Ground Floor of Annexe Building of the college. The section of the administrative department caters to the problems of the students. Registration, collection and distribution of student's documents, Admission and review system etc. are monitored by this section. Different fees of the students are collected here. The office is fully computerised and all financial transactions are fully computerised.
